Dr. Glenn Fernandez has been invited once again by the Development Academy of the Philippines (DAP) as Resource Person and reprise his presentation on “Forecasting Types and Amounts of Disaster Waste per Hazard” to a new batch of trainees.
July 20, 2023: Forum on BCM and Science Advice for DWM
Makati City’s Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (DRRMO) and the Philippine Association for Disaster Waste Management (PADWM) will be organizing a forum to discuss (1) how business continuity management (BCM) can be promoted among local governments, waste collection companies, recycling facilities, and landfill operators and (2) how local governments can access science advice for disaster waste management. Details on how to attend the forum will be announced soon.
