Dr. Glenn Fernandez won the 2023 BCI Middle East Award under the “Continuity and Resilience Volunteer” category for his voluntary capacity development activities related to disaster waste management. Dr. Fernandez is currently a full-time Associate Professor in the Faculty of Resilience of Rabdan Academy in Abu Dhabi, UAE. He teaches courses in the undergraduate programs in Business Continuity Management and in Integrated Emergency Management. As a regional winner, he was automatically shortlisted for the BCI Global Awards 2023.
