The group of Ms. Liza Velle Ramos, Dr. Noralene Uy, and Dr. Glenn Fernandez won 3rd place in the Best Paper competition at the Philippine Institute of Environmental Planners (PIEP) Virtual National Convention and General Assembly held on November 5-7, 2021. Ms. Ramos gave the presentation titled “Disaster Waste Management in the Philippines and in Makati” on behalf of the team.
